Winter makes our Valsertal irresistible: In the Ski and holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal there are 28 best prepared ski slopes with a total of 44 kilometers, four cross-country trails, numerous snowshoe trails, seven toboggan runs and several ice rinks waiting for you. For snowboarders, the snow park F-Tech is open, where there is a freeskier and a snowkite area. Moreover, we have on-site a certified ski school. The location of our house is further advantage for you: We are your hotel close to the ski slopes. Just 50 meters from our front door there is the Tasa slope and the next lift. At the Hotel abis – Dolomites after a busy day on the slopes you can leave your skis and boots in the heated ski storage with boot drier, so you can start again skiing the next day with the best conditions.

Beautiful ski-runs, as far as the eye can reach

Our ski area is divided into two parts. In Valles you have direct access to the slopes of the Jochtal, and a communication path is directly linked to the second are Gitschberg at Maranza. As a hotel on the ski slopes, we recommend you of course our home area Jochtal for skiing. If you want to make more experience, you can head to the slopes on the Plan de Corones, which is situated 30 kilometers away and represents the best equipped ski mountain in South Tyrol. Other excellent slopes can be found on the Plose with the Trametsch, the longest downhill run of South Tyrol with 9 kilometers, in Gardena Valley, on the Siusi Alp and in the Dolomites. We suggest also to take the famous Sella Ronda, a ski circuit around the Sella Massif with unique mountain scenery. By car you are there in about an hour.
