Holiday at Valles: the pearl in the high valley

Even at first glance Valles unfolds its magic of originality. The charming village is nestled in the valley of the same name. In the North the village is sheltered by the Fundres mountains. A holiday in Valles takes you back to a time when South Tyrol mountain farmers gave the course of events even more than today. On the flat bottom of the valley, you will be greeted by an authentic mountain village, which was built in the Middle Ages and thus still looks like before more than one hundred years. The symbol of this village belonging to the municipality of Rio Pusteria is the parish church of St. Andreas. It was built in 1341 and stands for the long lived history of the region. The village of Valles is also the location of our hotel abis – Dolomites – we could not imagine a more beautiful one.

From our Hotel in Valles situated at an altitude of 1,353 m, you can perfectly explore the beautiful surroundings. There, for example, the mysterious mountain village Malga Fane or Bressanone hut wait for your visit. Numerous hiking trails lead you in an idyllic mountain landscape in which the Wilder See and of course the majestic Kreuzspitze are among the literally prominent goals. The Fundres round trail is always a worthwhile tour, where you can discover the unique nature of Valsertal and its surrounding mountains during your stay in Valles. If you prefer to take it more introspective, the easy Valles round trail is recommended.

Winter charm at Valles

The holiday at Valles is a highlight all year long, with a grand finale in winter. Then around Valles skis, sleds and snowshoes arrive at their proper destination. The slopes and trails, toboggan runs and skating surfaces of our town have an appeal that goes far beyond the region and satisfy all shades of winter sports enthusiasts, from families to professionals.
