One hotel – two or more ski areas. It is easy to count them, if you are guests for a ski holiday at Valles. Jochtal, the first ski area is at door’s step. The next lift is actually only 50 metres away! Jochtal has got totally seven lifts and offers you 21 kilometres best prepared ski-runs, we can say that this is our home ski area. Exciting ski-runs, variegated slopes are as many as the romantic huts for a cosy break.

Gitschberg just next door

The second ski area Gitschberg with further 21 kilometres ski-runs and eight lifts. Both ski-areas are connected by a cable car. So you can comfortably commute between the one and the other. Gitschberg ski-runs are particularly wide and accessible. You can convince yourself about that during a wonderful round overview from the 360° panorama platform on the top of the mountain. Also here both beginners and ski experts find what they are looking for.

When you spend a longer ski-holiday in Valles, Plan de Corones near Brunico is a day-trip worth. The most modern ski area in South Tyrol offers you over 100 kilometres ski-runs. Further Dolomiti-Superski-areas can be found in the upper part of Pusteria Valley, in Gardena Valley or on the Siusi Alp, which lay at maximum 1 hour and a half by car.

Cross-country ski-runs for fans

Valles offers also proposals to cross-country skiers. A lot of cross-country trails on-site harmonize the beauty of nature with physical recovery. Our easy round trail with about 8 kilometres is an excellent circuit for soft sliding.

Ski-tours in a wonderful nature

In the Ski and holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal also ski tourers find a real paradise. There are both guided ski-tours, you can start together with an alpine guide or alone. Twice a week a slope remains open at night for a wonderful ski-tour in the fabulous surrounding nature.
